Mateo is a modular and evolutive controller that comes in two options: Mateo USB or Mateo Eth (Ethernet)

The Mateo-USB module is equipped with:

  • A STM32F412 Microcontroller running at 100MHZ from STMicroelectronics
  • ROM Flash = 1MB
  • RAM = 256KB
  • 8 selectable inputs: analogue or digital type N or P , an input 230V, RS485, 3KHz fast counting input
  • 4 relay outputs with dry contacts NO.
  • External 24V DC power supply
  • Dimensions of the module: 90,42 x 80,83 x 59,5 mm (w x l x d)
The Mateo-Eth module is equipped with::

  • A STM32F412 Microcontroller running at 216MHZ from STMicroecs
  • ROM Flash = 2MB
  • RAM = 512KB
  • Colour touch screen 2,4″, 320 x 240 pixels.
  • 8 selectable inputs: analogue or digital type N or P , an input 230V, RS485, 3KHz fast counting input
  • 4 relay outputs with dry contacts NO.
  • External 24V DC power supply
  • Dimensions of the module: 90,42 x 80,83 x 59,5 mm (L x l x p)

Fields of application

The Mateo PLC meets the following needs:

  • Small automation with or without HMI for controlling local processes with the management of remote I/Os for example for home automation applications.
  • Automation with HMI for a local supervision interface, with data processing via Ethernet for remote control as required by the BMS (Building Management System). Thanks to it’s modular design, Mateo can process up to 92 remote I/Os. This controller can be used in any industrial process that requires supervision, archiving, data processing and  localized display via its HMI.
  • For any industrial process that requires remote supervision with a small number of remote I/Os with cloud backup.

Embedded clients:

  • DHCP, automatic IP configuration
  • SMTP, sending e-mails
  • SNTP, time synchronization
  • WEB client: HTTP, HTTPS

Embedded servers:

  • Modbus server
  • WEB server

Modularity

Mateo offers real modularity in the types of I/O proposed; the controller can manage up to 92 I/Os which can be chosen from a wide range of modules from the AIM μIO family:

  • Analog modules in current or voltage mode, digital modules.
  • Industrial modules: counters, encoders, PWM, PT probes.
  • Communication modules: LoRa, Sigfox, 4G-2G.
